About the Maker
Made slowly, meant to wander with you.Jennifer grew up in northern Canada, where the calls of geese fill the sky every fall and spring.Migration was more than a seasonal marker - it was a reminder of home, of leaving and returning, of the quiet steadiness beneath life’s movement. During one of those quiet in between seasons, Jennifer began making jewelry. She found herself drawn to stones - their texture, their weight, their ancient presence. Working with them felt like a conversation with the earth, a way of touching something old, constant and enduring.Making malas became a practice she returned to again and again. She loves the slow choosing of stones, the meditative repetition of knotting, and the intention woven through each step. To her, a mala is both a tool and a companion: a piece of the past carried into the present, offering grounding, strength, and a reminder of what holds us steady.Wandering Goose Designs is her offering - handmade malas, bracelets, earrings and simple stone necklaces- created with care, quiet, and deep connection.Every piece begins with sorting stones by light and texture, selecting colorful silk threads and metals - leaving just enough of the process visible to remind you that a person made this.
